While this great photograph was taken to promote Be My Baby by all The Ronettes — Nedra Talley, Veronica Bennett (Ronnie Spector), and Estelle Bennett — Ronnie was the only one of the three who’s voice is actually on the record. As was often the norm for producer Phil Spector, the main backups were The Blossoms featuring Darlene Love. However, also in the mix is fellow Philles Records artist Bobby Sheen along with Nino Tempo, Sonny Bono, Cher, and even the song’s co-writer, Ellie Greenwich.
