As I was going through my RSS feed reader this weekend, I was certainly surprised to see this photo taken in the summer of 2015. Apparently, something caused Beaman Automotive to give up on the sign. While I always find it sad that companies can’t find it in their budget to keep these neon beauties in or near their original locations, at least this one will have a good, caring home at The American Sign Museum in Cincinnati.
A few days ago, I posted a photograph of the Beaman Pontiac sign where it was still in its original location in Nashville, Tennessee. I had posted that photo previously in the autumn of 2013 during my time on Tumblr. When I brought the post over here, I did not find anything online that anything had changed regarding to the relocation of the sign to elsewhere on Beaman’s property after General Motors phased out the Pontiac brand.
