This is another photo where I am so glad a sign was captured before it was too late. Sitting on Division Street that was once coast-to-coast U.S. Route 80 before being decommissioned west of Dallas, the Fiesta Motor Inn has since become a member of the America’s Best Value Inn chain. I don’t know who made this decision but, since this picture was taken, the "Motor Inn" portion was covered up with a cheap, plastic sign touting this motel’s new association. Sadly, this is all too common in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex that, still to this day, has a terrible reputation for keeping any of its roadside heritage intact.
