Gary Owens was already a legend in radio before he began to expand into television and voice work (most notably as Space Ghost and Powdered Toast Man). In an even higher compliment, now over four years since Gary went to the big announcer’s booth in the sky, everybody that worked with him still says nothing but kind things about how he was always prepared for work with a good attitude and would take time to give advice to the lowest of fellow employees.
