While the building and main signage have been modernized, this sign from Taco Bell’s original glory days has been moved to an unnamed alley just behind the western side of the restaurant and just north of East Victory Drive which also carries U.S. Route 80. With current overlord Yum Brands being one of the many chain owners that wants to obliterate history in the name of "consistent branding" (as documented in a post I made about a San Antonio location of another restaurant Yum Brands has ruined, Pizza Hut), if this is not the last old-style Taco Bell sign still standing, it is one of an extreme few.
