This old motel, located on Tucson’s historic (and infamous) Miracle Mile and built in 1938, has been remodeled and rejuvenated from a seedy, decaying lodge to a thriving small complex of art galleries with a cafe. The motel’s courtyard has been remodeled and serves for various retail and music events. The vintage, streetside neon sign with its distinctive saguaro cactus has been restored; its former name has been altered to read, "Monterey Court Studio Galleries and Cafe."
