The Morrison Hotel has been closed for years and isn’t even recognizable unless one knows the address. However, the gentrification of downtown Los Angeles is now only about a block away from its location. Talk began last year of restoring the hotel or at least its iconic lobby window when somebody finally pulls the trigger on revitalizing the buildings on that side of South Hope Street.
