While it has lost all of the old decor minus the rock walls on the motel building itself, this place still stands on the old alignment of U.S. Route 30. While nowhere close to being visually exciting anymore, what is now called the Downtown Inn along with the El Rodeo Restaurant and Hideout Lounge have fairly decent online reviews. While I don’t necessarily lament the loss of the stereotypical "Indian" signs, it’s a shame to see this building now look so bland that most travelers would probably drive right past it without ever knowing it was a good and active set of businesses.
