The Silver Sands is still there although its exterior no longer looks as fun as it did in the old postcard shown above. A quick look at the reviews shows them being a little bit shaky but it appears that new management has gotten things back up to snuff…a good thing to see for those like me that have furry family members that often have a difficult time finding dog-friendly motels along the Pacific Coast.
