1955 Studebaker President State Speedster

If Studebaker ever did anything right design-wise in the post-war years, it was the Speedster. It was not only well-built but also a great design balance between European influences and the futuristic eye of the United States. This general design was introduced in 1953 and then climaxed with this beauty that had all the finest accouterments Studebaker could offer including optional air conditioning. Then, of course, Studebaker dropped this design in 1956 and replaced it with the butt-ugly Hawk series in 1957.
